Don't put away those walking shoes just yet

The Mid-America Trucking Show came and went a few months ago, but that doesn't mean things are ready to slow down. In fact, we had such positive feedback from participants and sponsors of our MATS Health Awareness Walk that we will be organizing another one at the Great West Truck Show in Las Vegas.
     We're proud to announce that this year the Great West Truck Show will feature a Health, Wellness and Safety Pavilion where attendees can find exhibitors with products and services available to help make it as easy as possible for you to be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle while on the road.
     It doesn't take a weatherman to predict that Las Vegas in June is likely to be quite warm, so we plan on having the walk inside the convention hall. You can find more detailed information of the event as well as the ability to pre-register for the walk at our Web site (driverhealth.org).
     Not to be outdone, the Healthy Trucking Association of America has become the Platinum-level sponsor of TCA's Highway Angels program. As you read this month's cover story feature and see the huge impact Highway Angels have had on society, it makes us proud to help spread the news to the rest of the country about all of the positive contributions the trucking industry is making to our community.
