DOT Secretary hails HTAA and Driver HEALTH magazine

In a Sept. 2 posting on the blog FastLane, U.S. Secretary
of Transportation Ray LaHood gave kudos to the Healthy Trucking Association of America (HTAA), the Trucking Solutions Group and Driver HEALTH magazine for organizing the 61+ Health Awareness Walk at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas (http://fastlane.dot.gov/2010/09/healthy-trucker-movement-an-important-development-in-an-important-industry.html).“The critical job of moving the goods we need across America is no easy task,” LaHood noted on FastLane, the official blog of the U.S. Secretary of Transportation. “For many truckers, their schedules leave very little time to do more than deliver their loads. Carving out time for exercise and proper nutrition must seem like an impossible challenge.”
