Plenty to be thankful for this holiday season

I want to start off by saying thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read my column this month; with country music star Trace Adkins featured on our front cover, I have no intentions of attempting to compete with his popularity.

To say we are thrilled to have Mr. Adkins on our cover would be quite an understatement. Here is a celebrity who is doing everything he can to bring awareness and attention to several health and wellness issues. I won't go into the details in this column, since the article on Trace will cover this in great depth.

We are grateful that Trace has given so much attention to these issues, and he certainly realizes the challenges every truck driver in our industry faces. Trace is quite thankful for all of your hard work on a daily basis, and thanks to your dedicated readership, we will continue to deliver helpful articles that will be both informative and educational.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support. So many of you have contacted me asking what you can do to help promote Driver HEALTH magazine and the Healthy Trucking Association of America. Please  continue to do so; we've made some headway, but we have much more that needs to be done and can use all of your help.
