Greatwide Logistics Services named to Inbound Logistics listing of Top 100 Motor Carriers

DALLAS (October 13, 2009) – Greatwide Logistics Services, a national provider of non-asset-based transportation and third-party logistics services, announced its inclusion in Inbound Logistics Top 100 Motor Carrier ranking for 2009.
“Achieving this milestone is a tribute to the 8,500 dedicated men and women in North America who are Greatwide,” said Raymond Greer, CEO of Greatwide Logistics Services. “Inbound Logistics included us in their ranking based on our team’s outstanding service level to customers, fleet size and safety standards, among other requirements.”

The Inbound Logistics ranking is based on the publication’s editorial staff’s evaluation of questionnaires completed by the carriers, Internet research and personal interviews via phone and email which are used to select 100 trucking leaders from more than 300 companies that submitted their credentials.

“What an honor it is for Greatwide be selected by this publication,” said Greer. “Every business has its challenges, and as we all know, this has been a particularly difficult year in many respects for our industry. The fact that we have been successful in this demanding time is due to some exceptional efforts by our entire team.”

The Top 100 Motor Carriers list appears in the September 2009 issue of Inbound Logistics.
